go to settings ( normally the icon is like a gear wheel) and change to english where you see english in the list

The display language is preset to English. To change the language, from the standby screen, press Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Language. Choose from English, Espa?ol (Spanish), or Chinese for both the screen text and input language. Note: If you accidentally change your language to Espa?ol and need to reset it to English, from the standby screen, press Menu 9 5 2, select English, and press the OK key.

Should look up in setup and change language to English. Sounds rather simple, were it for those strange "chinese" characters!
Some time ago a friend had just the same problem. So he went to his favorite Chinese Restaurant, called the manager and the friendly chinese manager solved the problem in seconds!.
Are you sure it's Chinese and not Korean? Because there are not so many Korean reataurants around.

I could not find an exact match for your model of phone, but try this video on YouTube. Since it shows what screens to choose for a phone in Chinese to get it back to English, it may help you solve the problem until someone with more info comes along.

I did this to my HF1000 Handsfree device this evening as I had mine in chinese language as well today.
Power up the unit the vioce will say power on, wait for silence then push and hold the Call button, the unit will speak the pairing instructions including the pair code of 0000. regardless of the language the voice will repeat the number four times, so even thought you might not understand it, you will hear the number repeat....
After a brief silence period, press and hold the call button again, the next announcement is the language selection menu. After the announcement press the Volume + (plus) button to change the langauge, this announcement is quite long. Wait for each announcement (they are maybe two full sentences long).

Press the plus (+) Volume button to again to change to the next language, wait the appropriate length of time and press the plus Volume key again, for the next language....

Chinese language is directly after English, and so you need to go throught the key press sequence about I think five times. English, then Chinese, Italian, Spanish then German, is the sequence I believe.

When you see all of the icons displayed on the phone, the settings icon is the one in the bottom right hand corner. Press this once and it automatically comes to phone settings which is No. 1. press this once and and scroll down just once which is phone language. You should then be able to change it to English.
