Download and install this.. Klite Mega Codec packs.
Restart your computer and play the movie with Windows Media Player or with the player that's included with Klite Mega codec packs.. They will play smoothly without any further codec problem.

Now the situation for the Windows users becomes that, when they upgrade the Windows system from Windows 7 to Windows 10 or something, they may encounter the problem that indicates Windows Media Player won't play DVD. How do i get a dvd decoder for my lattitude d600 notebook its got a dvd rom drive but when i try to play a dvd it says i need a compatible decoder
Download or install Power DVD, DivX or any Media Player that you need to play your DVD Movies....

Search GOOGLE if you don't have the installers.

I can,t able to play dvd's on window media player 11 becoz i think i dont have dvd decoder for that but i have installed dvd decoder from net it was ''dvd decoder pack for windows xp'' but when i installed...
well you can download the vlc program which can easily play the all format videos........this program u can download it from here

ok. here is the right solution for you. you must install the codec pack to view the DVD videos in your windows media player.

if you are using windows you need to install the following codec pack

Your DVD drive should have included a dvd playing software, such as WinDVD or PowerDVD. If it didn't, you may need to purchase one of these or install the Elecard DVD Codec for free. This link may work:

Its actually a hitachi-lg dvd writable/cd rw drive gsa h21n
you need to install either some 3rd party software i.e. powerdvd or go to this page and download the dvd decoder for media player http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/plugins.aspx
