you lost the cd tray timing,caused by force- eject,so you need proper alignment,you,needs specialist.

check all wires to speaker are correct also if you take the unit apart you might find that their is 2 or 3 fuses inside it might be that one of these has blown.
Also check no dust has over heated anything as this is often the case when anything electrical has been off for a while.

hi, try opening up the cover lid, and manually give a mild push to the tray, must be some small jam, or the eject belt or gear,.let me know

The intermittent version of this seems to be related to the cable that goes to the subwoofer portion. Have seen this behavior when the cable got loose. Unfortunately, I believe that this behavior may get worse in the long run and cause CDs to not play at all.

Possible that the analogue to digital converter is faulty in the audio signal control section- volume controller.
To confirm you must check the signals to the volume controller section , check for the digital signals to the A/D IC, check the digital signals from the remote to the processor and to the circuit.
You will be able to confirm with these input readings of voltages.
