I am surprised that Windows 7 would need a specific driver for your mouse. I couldn't find your model number but here is a list of all Genius mouse drivers. Perhaps one will work for you. http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/Genius/Mouse.html
Is this a wireless mouse? If so they are nothing but trouble. Maybe your battery has gone bad. If there are drivers that came with the mouse reinstall them. Bet you wouldn't have this problem if you plugged your wired mouse in. I never saw the sense in the wireless mouse or keyboard. You've got to be sitting right there at the computer for them to work, so why not just use a dependable wired connection?
You need to install the display driver. Go to the Acer WEB site to download the drivers you need, make sure it is Windows XP or Vista version for your particular MODEL laptop. Use this link :- http://global.acer.com/support/download.htm
