Hi.

You do not need to use the sandisk wireless card, this Ipaq should have integrated wireless.

Go to HP and download again the WLan driver, that should fix the problem.

Here the link:HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5400/h5500 Series WLAN Driver Update

or HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5500 Series Wireless LAN Driver Update with WPA Support

here all downloads:

» Software & driver downloads

If that does not work, ensure that wi-fi is not switched off, and try removing battery to reset the PDA.

Pocket pc says it is connected to internet, if I try to go to a site an internet explorer message comes up the page you are looking for can not be found, if pocket pc is hooked up to another computer if...

Most probably, you are experiencing the mentioned symptoms because the wireless setting for your PDA are not set up correctly.

Have a look at the following link:

http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpia8006/lpia8006.pdf

and scroll to the section: "Using the Wireless LAN (H5550 only)". If you are not using the WLAN utility and are connecting to the internet using a different device, try having a look at the sections: "Connecting to the Internet" and "Using Bluetooth"

Hope it helps.

My ipaq h5550 has wifi problems. I can't get onto to any network, period. the advice online by the so called "experts" is garbage. Are we all brain dead, or did somebody in the corporate machine release...

It can seem like no one knows what they are talking about, especially if the responder doesn't know what you have already done to troubleshoot the problem.

If I am redundant, I apologize. If you have iPAQ Wireless Pack for GSM/GPRS Networks, it simply will not work with windows mobile 03. As of 9-09, HP has no fix.

Make sure you have the latest drivers from HP. Pay particular note to network drivers, but also other updates can have an effect as well. If you have already tried the above, please leave more info on when the problem started and whether wifi shows availability.

How do I set-up my WLAN card to my HP iPAQ Hw6515

The HP IPAQ 6515 will support WLAN access via a SDIO WIFI card (which looks like a 'long' standard SD card): it is just a bit tricky to get this add-onl SDIO WIFI card to work properly!

Lying ipaq H5550!

It's a problem with either the memory board or the button board. With my h5550, the bottom buttons started to stop working and eventualy the PPC stoped charging all together. You can find parts for it online. If all the buttons are working fine, then it's most likely the motherboard. Otherwise it should be the button board.

PocketDVD problems

I'm a little confused. Most of the encoding programs I know like Pocket DVD Studio or Pocket DVD Wizard are programs you run on your PC (not the iPaq) in order to create a file which you eventually download to your card and play with Betaplayer.
