Page 5 of my copy of the manual states taht the AV100 works with SD and SDHC cards. SD cards max out at 2GB, while SDHC cards go from 4GB to 32GB.
If you're traveling, I'd STRONGLY suggest you have at least two memory cards, regardless of size. If one card goes bad or gets lost, you'll still have the other one. And if you do fill one card, you'll have another.

- wear down battery ( please check replace if needed)
- Hardware problem inside camera ( need to fixed at dealer of camera repair shop).

Try looking in "My Computer" for an extra drive (Under "Devices with Removable Storage") and opening that. There should be directories with picture files in them that you can drag to your desktop.
Many people find it more convenient to just take the memory card out of the camera and put it in a card reader, especially now that these readers are built into computers and printers.
