Unable to send text messages from my Motorola L6i

Although I can recieve text messages I cannot send from my handset, when I put my simcard into another phone I can send messages. I have got the right message center number but I cannot get the right e-mail gateway. and thus I cannot send text messages. please help.

    I am also having a problem sending text messages on my L6. I can receive them but i get an error code 21 when i try to send. My carrier is ATT, they tell me its because i have an unlocked phone and sometimes the features dont work, I am skeptical of that. Is there a way for me to set up the phone by entering codes or running a program or etc.?

It would be better for both of you to take the phones into your carriers and have them manually setup your gateways for text and email.

Is there a way to retrive deleted text messages or call long from the motorola milestone?
When messages, contacts, photos etc are deleted from a handset or simcard, although deleted all they actually do is free the memory to be listed as useable space, and untill something else is listed over that space your old data is still retrieveable.

You can buy sim card scanners to pull off deleted data and extract to you PC, there is also a number of software available to extract deleted data text messaged etc onto your PC from phone memory.

Cant send or recieve Text messages.

try
pressing menu key
go to messages
press the button inbetween the soft keys up top
scroll to message setup
then go to where it says "Use GPRS" and change it to no
It worked for me.

I can recieve text messages, but i am unable to send text message
go to settings ---> call barring ---> then click on Data calls ----> cancel .

this should enable sms send and recieve.

Motorola razr unable to send multi media texts?
Most likely, your provider did not activate the text messaging for sending. The phone company has to activate the features to allow usage.

Alltel motorola razr vc3 wont download pictures.
Call ALLTEL for the SERVICE Number. You accidentally erase it. This uses to send/receive msg maybe the Picture/Video too. Try boot-up ur Phone. Goodluck
