When I try to start my Moto Guzzi Norge (2010) it just makes a clunk and doesn’t turn. Battery is new.

Bad connection or faulty starter. Check voltage/current to the starter when you press start - should be around 8/9 volts for a 12 volt system - if considerably higher suspect starter, if lower and little current flowing suspect poor connection somewhere. If the voltage is low and current high suspect starter.

Output of generator is lower voltage than it should be usually 440v now 395v? reasons?

possible that the rpm of the gen set is lower than normal
there is an adjustment screw that adjusts the spring tension for the governor and it can be adjusted to bring the voltage back to normal
Note here--- if you run the set with a load of around 1/2 capacity set the voltage to on the 440 volts
if you run it at near capacity set it above voltage (445) because as it comes under load the rpms drop and the voltage comes back to normal

My gold engel fridge stops working when battery gets down to 9 do I stop this safety feature...I have duel battery system and would rather it run right down.

You have a nice refrig. But, the safety feature is there to protect the battery. A 12 volt battery should really never be brought down below 9.6 volts. The reason is the battery cannot sustain a lower voltage without damage to its ability to recharge. The cooler cant run on lower voltages as well so it shuts off. It is all based in the science of battery technology. So be happy it dows cut off or you would purchasing more expensive batteries. Take care of your cooler its a nice one.

Crank sensor

During the night or after the car sets for a while. The battery voltage will drop from the normal 13.6 to 13.8 volts when running and Charging, to between 12.3 to 12.6 volts. If the Crank Sensor is going bad, it may not operate correctly with the lower voltage. Check your Battery Voltage in the morning with a Volt Meter. If the Battery Voltage is lower than about 12.3 to 12.5 volts. You may need a new battery. Try leaving the battery on a low current Battery Maintainer overnight and see if it starts in the morning. I have seen many cars that shut down with Low Battery Voltage. Darn these New Fangled Cars and their Computers! FYI, we have never seen a Crank Sensor fail in this manner..... Check the RESTING Battery Voltage.

Clicking sounD wneh trying to start

Usually that sound means a low battery.

The clicking is caused by the battery voltage dropping below 9 volts, due to the load drawn by the starter, when the starter solenoid engages. The low voltage isn't enough to keep the solenoid energized and its spring returns it, thus cutting power to the starter. Absent the starter's load, voltage is restored, energizing the start solenoid and the cycle repeats.

In any case, when the battery gets that low you usually need to leave the jumper cables connected for 5-10 minutes before trying to start it.

Low output about 60 vac.

On the bottom right side of the engine there's a throttle with a set screw. This set screw is a fine adjustment for voltage control. The lever should be pushed until the set screw makes contact with the stop plate. Using a voltage meter, adjust the set screw until you hit 110 volt and then lock the set screw. I just bought the same generator, it was putting out 85 volts. Witha phillips screwdriver a wrench and a multi meter, I had 110 volts in less than 2 minutes. It now operates flawlessly.

Is the dial to adjust temp coldest set at low numbers or high number?

The dial inside the fresh food compartment, the bottom compartment
set to middle or above (higher numbers mean colder). Usually 5 to 9 if it has numbers.

Freezer knob in the middle if it has one. (If you set a freezer knob to "colder" it cuts
off the cold air to the lower compartment). Hope this helps

Briggs & Stratton 12KW Model 040229 LPG Generator. 96 Volts @ the 120 Volts outlet, When I turn the house 2 Ton AC voltage increase to 106 Volts.

Can you manually adjust the voltage on the generator without load?? If you have 120/240 60hz output on it and you are not overloading the unit (amperage), then it may be as simple as adjusting whats called your gain setting for your voltage regulator. Obviously you are seeing what happens when it is set too low. Trying raising that setting until it becomes unstable then back it off. Unstable meaning voltage starts jumping all over.

42FD9954 philips plasma TV flashing LED it wont come on

The problem is in the standby power supply. the standby power supply generates the 9 volts and the 5 volts requird by the tv. If you measure the 9 volts source, with only the red light on, the correct voltage is 9 volts. However if the 9 volt measures 6.5 to 7 volts it is too low and the startup relays cannot operate. My set is a model 42FR9954/17S. In this set if capicator, 2603, is heated the voltage climbs to 9 volts and the relays work. If cold air is applied to the capicator the relays fail to operate. Replace capacitor 2503 and the problen is fixed. This capicator is: 47 Ufd, rated @ 450 volts, and is 20%.

Volts to high

in order to set voltage you have to adjust the govener idle screw , that is what helps regulate the voltage, the higher the motor revs, the higher the voltage, the lower, the lower the voltage. the govener arm is normally a gold color arm with a small rod connected on top of the block. it should have a screw with a nut, or just a screw. turn counter clockwise, then ck voltage output, repeat till desired voltage. i usually, set mine at about 124, because once you put a load on it, it will bring the voltage down some. hope this fixes your problem. let me know. troy
