I can't install my lan network with my mboard M2NPV-VM. PLEASE HELP. i have dowloaded driver in this site http://www.driverstock.com/ASUS-M2NPV-VM-driver-download/6-9-10277-81839/index.html but its not autoplay. please help.

You can download the LAN and device drivers from ASUS WEB site.Select your model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select driversthat matches your Windows operating system. Please click on this link to theirWEB support site : - http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

You need to download the NVIDIA chipset drivers from the ASUS support webpage at http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?model=M2NPV-VM&f_name=6150v824_2KXP.zip&f_type=11&os=17. This should work for you, as I've done the same thing recently myself.

The driver would be located on the manufacturer's site of the LAN card.
Most LAN cards will use the Generic Windows Driver included with windows.
It will be recognized as new hardware an auto install on startup.

Please remove the graphics or VGA driver and download and install the latest one from the website and than restart your machine to take its effect.

Also download the latest directx and install it.

Simply enter the model number (M2NPV-VM) on the box on the top left and it will bring up all the drivers for you, I belive there were 37 total....I would link you directly to it but it does not allow me!

That should get everything on your motherboard working!!

hi, i have a couple of those boards. they have 2 ide ports on them and 4 serial ports. if youu do get the m2npv-vm, one thing that is weird about it, one faces up from the board and the other lays flat off the edge. also the ports are right next to each other and the polarity (which side you put the ribbon cable stripe on) is opposite each other. so if you don't use a keyed ribbon cable you might hook them up wrong.
