Your door switch is faulty.Normally the door swtich is a limit switch and its action is press to OFF, when the door is closed.Otherwise when the switch is released when the door is opened then the lights must come on. Use a good tool to take the switch out, you can use some goos quality switch/electric contact cleaners or even WD40 can be used. The switch must be pressed hard a number of times while you spray into the contact. If there is no result you will need to remove and take the swittch to find the same mounting type- normally On switch.Hope you get thei right. Good day

The light in the fridge side has stopped working bulbs are ok

Might be a stuck switch. Somewhere around the edge of door is a small pressure switch that pops out when door is open and gets pushed back in when door is closed. This can stick or even break.
Check the bulb shoe connectors aren't corroded both on bulb and in socket.
Switch off device first !! then get to bulb and scrape connections with screwdriver tip, very lightly. Switch off first !! (just saying it again).
Test the bulb too with a 9v battery. they may look fine but until you actually know ......

Whirlpool gold refrgerater light not working ? Eveything else is

Have you checked the bulb? If not, turn off the power before removing the bulb then see if you can make a circuit with the bulb, a battery and a bit of wire. If you can then the bulb's OK. The switch is the next most likely suspect. Replace bulb and turn power back on. Operate switch with door open. Does light now operate? After this it's beyond me. Decide how critical it is to have the light. If critical then call an electrician. Otherwise put up with no light!

Why the light of refregerator is not working

Either the bulb is bad, the center pin of the socket is not contacting the bulb, or loose switch wires, or the door switch is bad or disconnected.

I know this sounds silly, but did you try replacing the bulb? If the bulb is OK, try re securing the screws of the assembly to the roof, this is where the light grounds to the vehicle, but replace the bulb first, even if it looks OK, or do a continuity test to the bulb, that will give you the answer. Fridge light bulb

Not sure how the light socket only has 6V supply? The bulb for this fridge is a pretty standard 15 Watt/230V SES lamp. If you are sure the current lamp is OK I would suggest the door lamp switch has issues. Try pressing and releasing the door switch manually and check that it functions ok without getting stuck or any sluggish movement. This action in itself may fix the problem.

Main light on will not come on when door is opened/closed

For some reason, the bulbs I tested that worked somehow didn't work correctly when inserted into the door opener. We opened another set of bulbs we purchased and what do you know, the light now works. I don't fully understand as the other bulbs did work just not in the garage door opener.
