1. First make sure that you or anyone with access to your computer has not deleted the software.

2. Try the SEARCH feature: START > SEARCH > (from left panel, select "All files and folders").
Under "All or part of file name", type eManager.exe.
Make sure you select the C: drive under "Look in". You should see the results in the right pane.

3. If you cannot see that listed when you actually get there in Windows Explorer (START,right click and select 'Explore' to bring up Windows Explorer), click on TOOLS (at the top of the window) > Folder Options > View Tab > Hidden Files And Folders. Here click on "Show hidden files and folders". Now you should be able to see all hidden files.

Hi,

You can launch the recovery option by pressing 'F10' on startup, or if that fails, you can do a system recovery from the ACER EManagement 'Backup and Restore' option in Windows itself.

Emanagement has error and want to fix

Download it from there website since it will have the latest version. First go into add/remove programs and uninstall the emanagement software from there the reboot the laptop.

Then go to this link courtesy of Acer:
http://us.acer.com/acer-v2/service.do?LanguageISOCtxParam=en&miu10einu24.current.attN2B2F2EEF=3750&sp=page15e&ctx2.c2att1=25&miu10ekcond13.attN2B2F2EEF=3750&CountryISOCtxParam=US&ctx1g.c2att92=453&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=2054404012

Then click on Notebook, Aspire, then Aspire 3680. It will then bring up a box that shows you drivers for the laptop. Click on the tab that says Applications. Look for where it says Epower in the list and download the epower management application.

After your done downloading it, run the program and install it on your computer and see what happens, if it wants you to do a reboot then go ahead. Let me know how it turns out.

If this doesn't work let me know and I'll help you further but this should take care of the problem.
