It could be the seal that goes around the shaft. You might need a whole new toner/developer unit.

washing machines are lo-tech and a doddle to fix - but not necessarily inexpensive.
Many failures are main bearing due to persistent overloading (could that be your beloved?). Get a replacement bearing for a few pounds from Improvised bearing extraction is another subject, but if it's knackered then something about a piece of wood+hammer or a car jack+attachments (steel wire or steel brackets). Clean the shaft, use a silicone or ptfe spray to ease on the new one - job done. If the bearing rotates on shaft peen it fixed with a couple of sharp knocks with a centre punch.
Broken belts - no further advice needed.
Motors : may be cheaper to replace machine unless you can locate a rewind facility - these may still exist in developing nations but not Blighty. Local amenity tip may have one?
Controller: Replacement with new - see 'motor' - or eBay for a used one. Solid state controllers - you need a triac/SCR/MOSFET/w.h.y. Manufacturers conveniently grind off the type number, so you'll need a mate who works for one of the multinational semiconductor manufacturers.
Other bits and bobs like rubber seals, door hinge, etc are trivial and widely available from third party suppliers as well as s/h sources.

I need document feeder tray & document feeder unit for Sharp AR507

The RSPF (Reversing Single Page Feed) document feeder unit doesn't have a single part designation for ordering the entire unit. It's a standard item with the AR507 (meaning it's considered a part of the full machine).

If you want to order individual parts of the document feeder, you can contact Sharp via their website.

How do I put developer in a ar208s sharp copier

The developer comes in a bag and is poured into the developer unit which is the unit that the toner unit slides into. You should have a screw to loosen to slide the developer unit out. It has a silver magnetic roller that will be visible. There will be an open slot on top of this unit to carefully pour the developer contents into keeping it level. Reinstall and secure the holding screw. install your toner and test. I hope that this helps. Usually a service tech will set this up for you before you see it.

Firmware upgrade

What version do you have now?

Here is the newest version posted on SharpNet:

Version H2.40 contains the following modifications: 1. H5-01 error detection changed from 3 successive errors to 5. (POD1) 2. “H3” errors eliminated when ICU detects E7-00 error.(PCU processing change) 3. Image rotate information retained during paper-out condition by specifying use of manual feed tray. 4. If L3-00 or L1-00 errors occur after upgrade, TC 26-59 settings must be changed. Refer to technical bulletin AR-337-001 R for instructions. AR507.EXE Contains all the files needed to upgrade the AR287/AR337 copiers using a PC, SCSI adapter, and 7 series Black & White Imager. (AR287 ~ AR507) Refer to Technical Bulletin AR-505-001. AR507.EXE contains the following files – ICU_H2_40.mot, ICU_H2_40.fd, PCU_H2_40.mot, PCU_H2_40.fd, OPE_H2_40.mot, OPE_H2_40.fd, and Flash5.1.exe

The firmware upgrade on these "toner bombs" is no walk in the park but I can walk you through it and provide the bin files and software. contact me at double-u double-udouble-u dot brianbell dot net for more information.
