I want to transfer files from my mobile (lg tu 550) to computer (pc not laptop). I have tried via bluetooth to my GPS. I have a USB connection but it only seems to want me to manage contacts

If you have a cd with your Mobil install that once done plug your Mobil in the usb slot this will work transferring files etc. if you have no cd then go to your browser type in you Mobil name followed by support download the cd installation then use your Mobil on the pc, if you laptop has no blue tooth then it won't matter how much you try....it won't work, its a better way using the Mobil cd than blue tooth, you will be able to go to your Mobil home page and download files, hope this helps ;))

Try to connect it in bluetooth connection. (Wireless connection.). Or try to connect your phone in USB connection. (Wired connection) For wireless connection:
-open your first your bluetooth connection. (phone and laptop) -send the the files/photos via bluetooth connection. -accept the files from your laptop.
For wired connection: -connect your usb to your phone -set your phone connection to mass storage -connect to your laptop, if your laptop detect your phone, search your files, then copy it.. =)

you might need to install a mobile phone suite which is a program that will let you install a mobile phone to a computer this will have to be specific to your phone there are a number of phone suites nokia Samsung sony ericson to name a few here is a phone suite link hope this helps

Hi, You can install the the PC suite that came along with the mobile phone in your laptop. or search for bluetooth device from your laptop, your phone will get detected. just drag and drop your music files to the mobile icon. the files will be transferred. if its a desktop computer, you need a blutooth dongle.

you can copy music files in two ways:
1) Send via USB
a) Install the Samsung PC Suite (driver) in your PC/Laptop.
b) Connect the device with the PC/Laptop via the USB cable got.
The PC suite will act as an interface for connecting the mobile to the PC. Use original USB cable for faster & efficient data transfer.
c) The PC suite will give an interface for copying the music files to the mobile, Or, you can directly copy files by accessing the extra drive shown on the MyComputer which denotes the mobile device's memory.

2) Send via Bluetooth
If you have an active bluetooth device available in your PC/Laptop then just send files to the mobile after searching the mobile.

first of all, you turn on your bluetooth. then the laptops bluetooth. you select the recieve file on the laptops bluetooths option. then you search for device on the phone then you select the photo you want to send then send via bluetooth.

you can also send via usb cable. when the laptop or computer reads the usb, select the mass storage, then you try to locate the photo you cant to send the transfer it through the cable.

transfer via bluetooth may have some limitations as the bandwith is limited from the BT to the mobile, try connecting the mobile to the USB port useing the data cable provided with the mobile, then it as good as trf file to a pen drive.

if you have bluetooth on both your phone and laptop you can transfer that way. Alternatively you should have got a USB cable included with your phone.

You don`t need any pc suit. You muse set your phone:
Enter in the phone to: menu->setting->connectivity->USB connection mode and here set Mass storage. Now put the usb cable and you can transfer data form memory card to your pc.
