Flash problems Sony DSC-H9 My flash will not go off and when I try to change the flash setting it says FLASH SETTING CANNOT BE CHANGED

    same problem, flash setting cannot be changed on ANY mode. was woriking fine last time camera was used the other day, and now I can't change the flash setting at all in any mode.

As you haven't said which shooting mode the problem occurs under (e.g. Auto, Scene etc) I can only suggest that you try different shooting modes to gain access to changing the Flash settings. Hope this helps.

You have to make sure that you are not on that setting that allows you to shoot continuously as the shutter button is held. You can only be on the setting that allows you to shoot once per press of the shutter button. This setting can be found my hitting the BRK button behind the shutter button. I also had this problem and this solution worked for me every time.
