Try plugging it into a different USB port. also if you dropped it while changing batteries its probably junk. For what ever reason I've seen many of these that get dropped and they stop working.

Have a Wireless logitech mouse. Replaced battery. Green light comes on, but then goes off. What next?

From Logitech's website, "This is normal behavior of the mouse.
The green battery light of your ]logitech] mouse will come on for a few seconds to indicate the battery condition and then go out. This will occur when you power on your mouse and when you replace the batteries. The battery light goes out after a few seconds to conserve battery power."

I put in new batteries but no luck. No lights go ...

Answer:
With the buttons toward the top:
The top LEFT slider button is for power. Slide toward the outside for ON. Light on top of mouse turns green after about 1 second, and stays green for about 10 seconds (assuming the batteries are okay). When the batteries are failing, it blinks red.
The top Right PUSH button sends a connection signal to the PC. When pressed, the indicator light on the top flashes green and red, indicating the special connection signal.
This is the mouse side of the equation (good batteries, slider turned on, connection button pressed and released.).
NOW: the PC must have a working receiver, with drivers installed, and Bluetooth software installed. it sould detect the mouse. If it asks for a passkey, say none (mouse doesn't need passkey).
You should not need Microsoft Intellipoint. it doesn't have a configuration for this particular mouse model anyway.

Good Luck!

If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch. Hope this helps you. Bud

Logitech Wireless mouse stopped working

Logitech cordless devices are designed to always achieve at least 4 feet of good signal. Generally speaking, if you ahve the green light on the connect unit and the batteries are good on your actual mouse then it should work when you perform the synchronization procedure in the manual.

If it is still not working after you re-perform that you should consider relocating your laptop to try again from another environment (any electronic or electrical devices like zip drives, cd drives, etc can cause interferance). try it on a non metallic surface and if possible even try elevating the connect unit a few inches.

If it's still not working, uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse and try again. If after all that it is still not working it's probably a hardware problem and you should contact logitech support for a possible warranty item replacement.

Mouse doesn't turn on

This wireless mouse should have a transmitter that is plugged into the computer. Try replugging that in, and if there is a connect button on it, try pressing that as well.
