MAKE SURE ALL THE CONTROLES ARE SET CORRECTLY R-R GAIN CLOCKWISE FULLY, SQUALCE COUNTER CLOCKWISE FULLY AND HAS THE RADIO BEEN MODIFIED FOR THE 11 METER BAND BY SOMEONE
Don't worry about colors. look a the mic switch connections. one wire will be a common ground for TX & RX the middle wire would be ground(pin1) the n/c side will be RX pin4 the N/O side will be TX.... the same for the audio element side, one will be ground and the other will be audio pin 2.. this works for any mic and any radio.
same prob. no output modulation, good carrier, good receive and on frequency. where should i look first.
Need more information please. No tx, meaning no one can hear you, they can hear just keying up but no sound, or no movement on the meter?
Have you tried your radio with a known good mic? Have you tried your radio in a friends vehicle with his antenna and coax?
