I have this nokia 5310 model.My father bought it from Qatar last year. I'm from the Philippines. I tried to connect to the internet using this phone but it does give me the error message "packet data not available". I'm not really familiar with this isseu. Please help!

If it's from China, a clon, not original Nokia, try to set up the Wap and GPRS. You need to configure the set up your self with yours wireless provider's information.

Nevermind! I found the solution. You just have to go to nokia.com and choose your phone and you can have them text the MMS and web settings directly to your phone and then you simply save the settings and after I did this, no problems. Works like a charm now! Stupid AT&T customer service.... Grrr.

hey there, as far as australia is concern most of the service providers(3mobile,virgin,vodafone,telstra,optus, etc.) over there put a network lock on each n every cell phone they sell. It seems your cell phone is network locked so you can either search a NETWORK LOCK OPENING HACK on internet or try to contact the customer care center of the same service provider where your friend bought this cell from.
