The date and day are incorrect on my dakota atomic watch; how do I reset these please ?

if just time is off by one to three hour(s) , you need to ck your time zone settings , if the day is off by one day you need to wait 24hrs keeping watch in a good view of the sky (not locked in a metal box) it should auto correct itself to proper day when it receives the radio signal for two time cycles (24hrs)

Silicon scientific atomic watch

Should be 4 buttons, 2 on left and 2 on right. Press bottom left 3 times and hour offset digit will be displayed. Press and hold top left until hour offset digit starts to flash. Press either top or bottom right to adjust offset hour to correspond with your time zone. Eastern -5, central -6, mountain -7, pacific -8. These are negative numbers, not positive. Then press top left button once, then press bottom left button to return to time display.

Waveceptor reset

I have a number of these Casio and Citizen watches. This watch does not use GPS for the time keeping. It uses a land based broadcast time signal. There is public information about where the signals come from for your area. The technical breakdown of the time code signal is public access information.

The instruction manual of the watch has the information about when your watch should automatically receive the time signal, and how to set up the watch. Many of the manuals also included a map showing the time signal coverage, and includes the time of day information to show when the signal is strongest.

Make sure the watch settings are for your time zone. This is important. If the main time zone is not for your area it will be trying to receive the signal at the wrong frequency at the wrong time of day. There are areas where the signal may not be able to be received. You can get the mapping for this from the service that the watch has been set to use.

In North America the auto time receive is supposed to take place between midnight 00:00 to 04:00. In the eastern part of North America the reception is poor compared to central and western part of North America. Check the instruction manual for your watch for details.

Below is the spec listing of your watch.

How do I adjust the time zone on my E.Howard atomic watch? The T2 button doesn't activate anything when it's pushed?

No, just set properly. This watch is very difficult to set. A watchmaker may be able to help you. The instructions are not very clear. You might try a watchmaker for assistance or try calling them although I have not had much luck along those lines.

When I set my casio wave ceptor to my timezone and set the time correctly, the hands move to a different time. Both hours and mins. are off. When I set to zone 0, both hours and mins are correct. I am...

If your watch is exactly an hour out, then you need to set the daylight saving time (DST) via the mode button.

If this is not the case, then I cannot help you.

~Good luck

I have a Westclox, Calander Model 70026. I have set the clock several times to the correct time,(with the time zone at the proper setting) but, after a day or so, the hour reading, reverts back...

It's most likely because of Daylight Saving Time. Your clock receives a signal through the air once a day from the actual atomic clock, much like a cell phone receives the time from your cell phone service provider, and it automatically resets itself to the exact time each time it receives this signal. Remember that the middle of the year (the second Sunday in March until the first Sunday in November in the US) is Daylight Saving Time for much of the United States. The clock has an option that allows you to set whether you are observing Daylight Saving Time or not. If this is set to "off", the time will be one hour behind until Daylight Saving Time ends (November 7th). Make sure this is set properly, and your problem will be solved.

How do I reset the time when I move into a different time zone

mcdevito75 here, You re-set the time in a different time zone the same way as you do for the time zone your in now. The different time zones in the USA ru from 1 to 3 hours before the time in the Eastern part of the USA, example, Eastern time 3 PM, then going West, you have Central time 1 hour before, then Mountain time, 2 hours before , then Pacific time 3 hours before eastern time.

Cannot change from 24 hour to 12 hour also did not change to daylight savings time

To change from 24 hour to 12 hour, you hold down the "Mode" button until it switches from 24 hour to 12 hour or vice versa. To change the time zone, you hold down the "Set" button until the time zone that you set it in flashes (like "LAX" on my watch). Then you press the "Receive/Start/Stop" button to choose the specified time zone you want. To set for daylight savings time ("DST" on the watch), after holding the "Set" button and having the time zone flash, you could press the "Mode" button. It will give you a few options for the daylight savings time (Auto, On, or Off). I chose the "On" option, which immediately changed for daylight savings time. If you manually want to change the time, you could hold down the "Set" button and keep pressing the "Mode" button until the time starts flashing on your watch, then pressing the "Receive/Start/Stop" button until you change it to the time that you want. You could also set the watch to beep or chime after pressing the set button if you wanted to know that piece. You hold down the "Set" button when you are done to get it to stop flashing. These instructions worked for my Timex T5G341 Universal Radio Control Watch. I hope this helps.

How do I set a LaCrosse WT-961 (B) watch?

This watch automatically sets itself. I you live in the eastern time zone, you just have to wait for the watch to receive the signal then it will set itself to the correct time & date. The signal is strongest at night between the hours of 10:00 pm & 2:00 am so it normally takes over night to set. Sometimes the weather interferes with the signal so I tell people to give them a couple of days to pick up. Also if you are having trouble receiving the signal try placing the watch by a window. If you do not live in the eastern time zone try these instructions:

Hold down the button for 2 seconds until the time zone abbreviation & zone flash the keep pressing the button until your correct time zone is displayed. Then wait about 8 seconds for the watch to return to normal display. Then you just have to wait until it picks up the signal & sets itself. I hope this helps.
