Maybe the wirless transiver stopped working, if it had warinty that is still valid you could try to contact logitech or the store you bought it from. If not you could still contact logitech and see what they say since they made the mouse.

USB mouse not working?

Ok don't worry. Sounds like you need to Unplug the mouse for a sec then re-plug it back in to reset it. If the mouse is wireless then try replacing the batteries. Cause a wireless mouse can still turn on if batteries are weak but won't have enough power to connect to the receiver connect to the desktop/laptop. Try doing so and let me know if this solves your issue.

My Kensington Pro Wireless Model #72268 is not working even with new batteries???? help

The USB dongle may have failed. This NOT a blue tooth mouse so if the dongle has failed, time for a new mouse.

My remote mouse just quite working

The first thing I would try is replacing batteries. Even if you think your mouse batteries are good, still try to replace them with the new ones.
If that does not work, try to reconnect your mouse by pressing the "Connect button"
Trying different USB port for the base - would be another option.

Got it for Christmas and it just quit today. Changed the battery twice and tried the reset button, but no luck. V220 model

Most wireless mice does not have a reset button. They usually have a "Connect" button.

Since you have tried replacing the batteries, try holding down the connect button on the USB receiver and on the mouse at the same time for five (5) seconds and release them. See if that would work.

If not, try connecting the USB receiver into another computer to isolate the problem.

Good luck and have a good evening!

My mouse was just working and all of a sudden it stopped, I changed the batteries, reset the small button on the bottom and also pushed the button on the plug in portion. Help Allen

I have a miscrosoft wireless laser mouse 6000, and it also stopped working on my laptop. I changed the battery, still not working. I tested the battery in another device, and it was good. I moved the mouse to another computer, and it did not work. The light on the usb connector was lit. [No changes at all to my laptop.]. It seemed like there was no power to the mouse, and I looked at the contacts inside the mouse. The contact just inside the battery opening appeared to be bent down away from the contact on the battery tray. So, I pulled it up a little so it would connect when the battery drawer closed, and (after tweaking it a couple of times), it finally worked!

Fairly new mouse (new batteries also)not working. Solid blue light when plugged into USB port but cursor will not move at all when click mouse buttons or scroll bar. Rebooting system nor unplugging USB...

First make sure your mouse is installed properly. Go to Device Manager and see if it lists the mouse and has no conflicts. Also, try a different USB port, especially if it doesn't show up. If your receiver and mouse have reset or connect buttons on them you'll need to push those also. try alternate batteries. if none of these suggestions can solve your problem you may be looking at a defective mouse.

Wireless mouse locks up

I would suggest investing in a USB mouse. They never have this problem and are very cheap to buy. I have found that wireless mice are prone to problems. I would say there is a problem in the connection between your mouse and the laptop but this sort of problem is quite hard to find. As I said, you are better off with USB mouse.

The cursor on my laser wireless mouse won't move

You need to sync the mouse with the USB receiver. They'll be a similar button on the receiver. Push both at the same time.
