The picture on my sony bravia KDL is disfigured. there is a horizontal bar across the screen that is flipped upside down. EX. when the tv is plugged in and it says "no signal" in the lower right hand side of the tv - it is flipped upside down above it.

Yeah we have the same exact problem here. Defective TV....ours would correct itself after 30 mins, but now it's blurry all the time. I'm never dropping 2K on a SONY tv again.
I'm having the same problem. I have noticed on mine that the menu when brought up is clear and I can see it perfectly. The picture on all the inputs is just as described above though. BUT, like I said I can see the menu just fine. This leads me to believe that it's not the panel. Anyone have a solution to this, or at least know what could be causing it?
This set does have a video problem. If it was bought locally, then, the retailer may have a 30 day return policy.
If bought online or cannot be returned, then, contact Sony, for a service center in your location:

Either way the set is to new to have a problem and you should get it resolved as soon as possible.
