Loosen the screws on the top usually under a plastic cap that comes off to expose the hinge there will be 3 then move the door around and retighten them. If it needs to be adjusted up the easiest way is to remove the top hinge and then pick straight up on the door it will come off the bottom hinge look for plastic washers on top and bottom remember where they go you can add a couple metal washers on the bottom hinge then put the plastic one back on this will raise the door slightly. You can order plastic washers or even get brass ones from a hardware store they work fine. good luck

Am having problems ajusting my screen resolution. i'm not able to find, how to go about it?

Depending on your version of Windows (XP/Vista/7, that is, assuming you are using Windows) the steps vary.

XP:
  1. Right click your desktop, click "Properties"
  2. Click the "Settings" tab.
  3. Drag the slider bar to the desired settings.
Vista/7:
  1. Right click your desktop, click "Personalize"
  2. Click "Display" in the bottom left corner of the window.
  3. Click "Adjust resolution" in the top left corner of the window.
I hope this helps!

Xerox 4595 gives me a fauld code 010-315

Check that the front door magnets are still attached to the door. They can come out of their holders and this will cause the front door not to close properly. They are easy to snap back in. Squeeze the sides, then put it back in it's holder. There are 2 magnets. One on the upper corner and one on the lower corner. You must reset the power to clear this error. Also check that the door closes properly by holding the top right side shut. I have had to bend the door switch bracket out to make proper contact. Check that the cover of the duplex tray is all the way on,too. If it is loose on the lower right corner it can interfere with the front door. After checking these items, reset the power to clear code.

I have no voice at all, how wood i get my volum ajusted.

Hi!
1. If it is visible, single left click on the 'Show hidden icons' button, which is usually located near the bottom right hand corner of the screen. 2. Single left click on the 'Volume' icon, which looks like a gray speaker.
3. Single left click and hold down on the slider in the 'Volume' dialog box. As you are holding down on the left mouse button, drag the slider up to raise the volume or drag the slider down to lower the volume. When you let go of the left mouse button, you should hear a tone to give you an example of how loud the volume is now set. 4. Single left click on the on the blue 'Taskbar' to make the 'Volume' dialog box disappear.
Hope this helps. :)

My Toshiba Satellite 1905 When You Power On, It Shuts Off Right Away. You Can Here The Fan Run But Shuts Down.

Make sure the CPU and the CPU heat sink are both properly seated - otherwise the "desktop" CPU overheats almost instantly and shuts down the computer. At the bottom of your 1905, the CPU heat sink is located underneath the smallest door and held in by 4 small screws at the corners.

That ought to do it.

P200-RT3 Toshiba Note Book - Windows Vista

Yes, there is a way to shut down without touchpad. Look to see if you have a key on bottom left corner of keypad that looks like a little MS Windows icon (kinda like a 4-piece "crooked flag"). If you do, you are in luck. Press that key ONCE and let go and the start menu will "expand" and show you programs, settings and SHUT DOWN. Now just hit the UP arrow key (on bottom right side of keyboard) and the menu moves up one notch, to SHUT DOWN. No press ENTER and the shut down menu appears Move the arrow key again, until it says "SHUT DOWN and press ENTER again. That is it.

If you have no windows key (many laptops don't) then try pressing ALT and F keys. Sometimes this works. If it does raise the menu, then 5the instructions are the same thereafter (arrows and enter).

Another way to shut down is press CTR ALT and DEL (DELETE) together, all three keys simultaneously (but only ONE time). Then wait a second. This brings up a process window that has tabs for shut down (arrows and enter will work there too).

Now, when you restart, look for an icon in bottom right hand corner for "synaptics touch pad". or some other brand touch pad. There you can change your touchpad settings back to "tapping" for mouse clicking. You can also allow "click and drag" but I think that is dangerous, since you can accidentally "bury" files and folders.

Hit the solved/Fix Ya key on the way out. :)
