GPS navigation I want to buy a Garmin GPS navigator and take it to Brazil. Will it work there? How about the maps from Brazil, do you have a card or something like that that I can buy and take it with me?

The SD Card carries the data for the Map Reader. It is a subscription item or single pay. You can get it from a Toyota dealer or online.

Disconnect the unit from power to reset it and put the code in. You will then be able to use it as a radio.

Or just head off to the dealership and have a coffee while they set the whole thing up. It will take them about 20 minutes.

You should probably just buy a Garmin.

If you did want to update the maps you need to find the software company that makes the map (usually IntelliNav or Odyssey) and then buy it from them and PRAY it works by loading the new map data directly on your SD card.

From experience, this makes your GPS crash a lot and make sure you back up your SD card before you even attempt this.
