Question about NorStar M7310 Corded Phone

I received a reply to my original question: "How do I change the time on the display on my NorStar M7310 phone?" The instructions says to press FEATURE **266344, which I did, but the display says "Password: RETRY" and then the display freezes. It appears that this default passcode does now work and that the phone installer may have entered their own password at the time of installation. How do I override the existing password so that I can reset the time?

The display will then prompt you for the password.
Press "266344"

Changing the time on a Norstar system must be done using a display phone. Using a M7310, M7324, or T7316 the right 2 buttons under the display are "NEXT" and "SHOW" respectively.

1.- To enter programming mode press "FEATURE" and "* * 2 6 6 3 4 4"
2.- Enter password (default = 266344) - display should read "Terminals & Sets"
3.- Press "NEXT"(bottom right arrow) 5 times - display should read "Time and Date"

How do i get to system programming on my norstar m7310 to get to auto relocate
Enter Administration Mode
  • Using you telephone set push feature * * 266344
  • Display will read Password
  • Using you telephone set enter password: 2 6 6 3 4 4

  • Display will read Configuration
  • Press Show
  • Display will read Trk/Line Data
  • Press Show
  • Display will read Sys speed dial
  • Press Next several times until the display reads Set relocation: Y or N
  • Press Change until the phone displays Y for ON or N for OFF

Can you change the password on NORSTAR M7310? I have the restricted line (long distance phone call) and I would like to remove that restriction. Can you help me? thanks Brandon
Yes u can change the password.
Go to system programming by Fetature **266344 password will be 266344.
Keep pressing next until display shows restrictions.
press show there it will ask for COS password press show there u press 00
u will get a pasword press change as per ur requirement.
