Delonghi magnifica, wont turn on!!\r\nwas going fine the other day, now it just wont turn on if i turn it on and off from the wall it starts self diagnosis the goes back to its defult off setting and wont doa anything

This particular machine is mentioned on Fixya 3 or 4 times a week, in fact I answered one yesterday. They have a history of problems. Your issue is likely the control board and would need dealer servicing. Having said that, this page lists most part as 'Obsolete - Discontinued'.

Coffee comes out fine, wont deliver milk or hot water from spout

Sounds like milk steam apparatus is clogged. Try to disassemble this portion and clean thoroughly. Descaling will not help this section.

Delonghi Magnifica 3300. When machine turns on and/or when trying to make coffee it pumps few secs of water and stops with water led blinking red. Thanks for any ideas to diagnose the issue.

Delonghi magnifica door won't stay shut

I had this problem. The door didn't snap when I shut it and it would pop open and stop the brewing. It was an easy 5 minute fix.

I removed the drip tray and the black plastic bin where the spent coffee grounds are expelled. With a flashlight I could clearly see 1/4" to 1/2" caked coffee grinds lining the back of the cabinet at its base. This residue kept the bin from seating correctly. Because the bin wasn't all the way back into the cabinet it put pressure on the door and kept it from latching. I cleaned out the buildup with a small spatula and a brush and the door latched perfectly again.

Defuser unit stuck at bottom of Delonghi magnifica coffee machine. Squeezing red buttons does not help. Cannot remove

Recycling the power resets the position of the defuser. When you turn it off, make sure you do it via the button on the front before swutching it off at the power point.

Descaling a delonghi magnifica ESAm04

I had this problem too. The instruction manual says to turn the steam knob only half way counter-clockwise after pressing the button for 5 seconds, but you need to turn it ALL the way to have the procedure start (at least, that was the solution with my machine). Good luck!
