THANKS FOR TRYING BUT I HAD ALREADY SEEN THOSE POSTS. I WAS HOPING SOMEONE HAD SOME NEWS ON THIS PROBLEM BY NOW SINCE THE TV HAS BEEN OUT FOR OVER 2 YEARS. WHY HASN'T TOSHIBA STEPPED UP WITH A RECALL????

Have you try calling them and ask them if they could help you?
The assembly that failed the most is the Ysus, something that you can be able to replace yourself by swapping boards.
