This means the machine is over-toning ie using more toner than required caused by either improper toner or different brand of toner. The correct toner is sf 222T1. Replace developer and use the right toner and clean the drum and its blade. You may need to clean fuser rollers for cleaner copies.
Dose the copier show a error code? Like a H4??? If so you have a problem with the fixing unit. I do belive it can be reset, but the problem needs to be repaired aswell.
mr engineer please check the drum mark sensor and clean it and also check the check the toner motor connector and do this program c interrupt 0 interrupt ,44 copy key 07 copy key after stoping the machine off and then on but first clean drum unit maintenance code is 20 then copy key and then three times ca ca ca
OK, CH normally means the one of the covers(front or side panels) is open or the developer unit is unplugged try these to see if that fixes the problem.
p.s
When the covers are closed a small tab on the covers triger a interlock switch or optical switch.
