My sons nintendo keeps freezing

This happened to my son, look in the slot one (where you put the games) with a flashlight and check there are no broken/bent pins on the reader.

If the reader is damaged in any way it will result in the problem you have stated.

All is not lost though, you can take the DSi to a computer repair shop and ask the guy if he's up for replacing the slot reader.
He needs to be good at micro-soldering.
The replacement parts are very cheap on ebay.

DS, DSi and DSiXL have the same game (cartridge)

Id call nintendo support and ask to have it repaired if they cant help

What do you mean when you say locking up. I have that game and it didn't freeze or anything. I have 100%.

You can use a pencil eraser to clean the contacts on the game cartridge

I'm no expert but this happened to me before. I wnet and got my money back and bought a different more updated one. (no offense to luca but, what can Nintendo do about a Datel product?)


I don't know if that will help, but instead of reporting to nintendo you should go to Datel's website.

You turn off your DS, take your game out & blow on the game cartrige and where the game actually goes INTO the DS.If this doesn't help, leave toyr DS for a few days and try the blowing again.

Both games are essentially the same. I don't know if they are compatible, but they could be. The game might just translate, so there would be no need to change the language. (Not that you could even if you wanted to). If your son find out differently though, each game, as I stated before, should be the same, only in different languages.

take it back before 28days has passed and they have to replace it for you...otherwise it gets sent away for repair

this is not going to be able to be fixed you will have to return it
