my new laptop toshiba setilite m200 mouse touch pad not whor what can i do?

    i try it but not work i can also check



    First shut down the laptop and then remove the battry

    the press start button 30 second



    after this set the battry and start the laptop but still not work?

Saket,
try to find out if there is any button for you touchpad on the keyboard, if you found then press this and try.
If you did not find then try the following:

  • Goto Start -> Control Panel
  • Double click on mouse icon
  • Then goto Device setting, there you can find an option/button to make your touch-pad enabled/disabled. Make it enable and try.

    check out your Device Manager, if there is any yellow marked component then you need to install driver for that.

Toshiba portage m200 touch screen not working

You need to replace the touch pad. You can order it to Toshiba or the dealer of that unit. But you cannot perform the DIY on that. Its very complicated. Let a Technician to replace the touch pad. After replacing the touch pad, perform a calibration on it so that it will work properly.

you need the wacom touch screen driver, just go to wacom .com and all i did was download and installed the driver, i run win xp , not tablet version, and after the driver ws installed the table an pen worked 100%,

just you have to go to control panel in window choose mouse change default setting & it is not working properly just change the ok the mouse now a day just 200rs thats it performs very good it is not disturbing your programs

Yes i know what you mean, I had this problem before very irritating, only thing I can suggest is to re-install the mouse driver from toshiba website and any firmware update. in my case I had to replaced the mouse pad module (this was on a Dell but it is the same concept)

Mouse problem? m200

THe Problemis that the little membrane pad for the mouse is no making full contact. What you need to do, is open the case, and look where the mouse pad is, and see if it can be forced closer to the protective layer. If this does not solve the problem, you may have to send the laptop back to the manufacturer for them to fix.
