I have lost all wireless and now installed it but it will not let any apple mac work

If the Mac Version is 10.3.X or 10..4.X the type the $ symbol infront of password then type your password
Ex:
Your password is 123456789 then type -->$123456789

But suggest checking if the g5 has a wireless card installed in it first before buying a dongle.

How to set up a wireless connection for my mac

I'm taking that you have an airport installed on your mac. Go to system preferences under the apple menu and then go Network click on the "+" sign and then select under interface airport and then under Network Name select you wireless network and you will be asked to insert your userID and password and then click on okay.

Lost install disk for Mac book pro My 13" Mac book

You will need some install disks to even begin working on your issue.
Your options:

Find someone with the same model MacBook Pro and borrow the disks.
Buy a copy of Leopard (10.5) or Snow Leopard (10.6) and use them. If you are going to buy a set you might as well update to Snow Leopard (10.6)
Check eBay for install disks but make sure they are for the same model MacBook Pro.
Contact an Apple service center and purchase a replacement set of install disks.

Once you have a install CD, I would recommend backing up your system by making a disk image of the hard drive to an external drive. Then doing a clean install and then using the Migration Assistant to restore your user files to the clean install on your hard drive.

I assume you lost the password for your apple..?
boot up from apple CDs, and look for the 'reset password' option in the tools menu (instead of installing osx)

I have a Belkin router. All of our PC's are working including my netbook. The only computer not working is my husbands MAC. Any solutions?

Check that the wireless adapter is correctly installed -- correct device-drivers loaded.

Check that the wireless adapter is not "disabled" (a slider switch?)

Try the wireless capabilities of the Mac at a "hot-spot" (Starbucks? Public Library?) to see if it can connect to *ANY* wireless network.

Run the Apple Software Updater, to ensure that OS X is properly updated.

Check that the Mac is connecting to the correct SSID, with the correct password/passphrase.

Start from scratch. Go back to your main computer and create a USB key and try that way.

Wondering, is your MAc setup for wireless?

Another thought, i had the same issue connecting my Mac to my parents wireless. I used the installation disc and that solved that.

Can't install leopard

Computer check The Mac OS X Installer makes sure your computer can use the version of Mac OS X you're trying to install.
Troubleshooting tip: If you see a message that you cannot install Mac OS X on this computer, even though it should work with Mac OS X, you may need to install a firmware update. Restart your computer from the hard drive and install the latest firmware :
