My manual disappeared before I had time to familiarise myself with the steamer. My new steamer came back without its manual after I lent it to a friend.
We've already had horribly tainted vegetables because the water was in the wrong place. Can anyone help with basic instructions?
There are Hinari manuals here and they commit to find any manual if it is not listed.
Oh yes, and good for the cholesterol too! But dont overcook them that they become soft and mushy, or all the nutrient value from the veggies will be lost.
Well, I'm glad you were able to sort that out. I tried looking for the manual, but unfortunately, couldn't find one anywhere. However, if I find one in the future , I will get back to this post and let you know.

Couldn't find Hinari manual, but did find one for Rival. They are almost similar, so you can use these instructions as well.

I found a neighbour who has just bought a new steamer with suggested steaming times on the front of the machine. She has given me the recipe book for her old steamer (a Hinari) and I can find rough cooking times there. By the way, she said vegetables were much tastier fried in a little olive oil in the wok!
