Hi, i think you might have to enable it in your bios set up, as the system boots up, press either DEL or F2, this will then give you access to your bios set up, using your instruction book, navigate to where the ON BOARD DEVICES ( or what ever your book or bios says it is located ) then see if it is enabled...

Asrock dual hcannel audio driver for win 7

Try the C-Media audio driver ver:Integrate003 Windows XP driver at the page for the P4i65G at the 24765074-fqlq3ztgu2xcc4onlckxgxw3-4-0.pngwebsite:

Sometimes the drivers for Windows XP works on Windows 7, but not all the time. If it doesn't try this:
Once downloaded, Right click on the ZIP file and choose Extract All...
Once extracted, Right click on the Setup file and choose 'Troubleshoot Compatibility'.
Your driver should then load in Compatibility Mode.

Monitor won't stay on

how is the monitor connected to the computer? what connection type is the monitor is it VGA or HDMI . What format is the computer video output is it VGA or HDMI. Also you may have two video outputs on the computer. Sometimes the motherboard vga output is disabled so that a much better video plug in card can be used which has its own video output port.

I wanna connect my laptop(lenovo G450) to samsung series 4 lcd through hdmi cable

Hello,

A HDMI cable can output both audio and video, whilst some computer with Windows XP cannot automatically switch to HD Audio output as Windows 7 can. Thus manual setup can solve the problem.

After connecting the HDMI cable, Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Sounds and Audio Devices", double-click "Sounds and Audio Devices. Select "Audio" tab on "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties" window.

On "Sound playback", change "Default device" from "Conexant HD Audio output" to "NVDIA High Definition Audio".

Your television should have several HDMI ports, select the appropriate HDMI port number and check if TV is not muted.

Hope this helps.

Speaker problems

If the audio is not clear it can be caused by excessive volume, "speakers are tiny" faulty speakers, or a bad audio output chip. Plug external speakers to see if that will clean it up, if no change! audio output chip, but if problem is cured it is the laptop speakers.
