Sounds like the hibernation and hard drive setting need looking at under the power controls, also check that a password is not required in returning from hibernation.
If its giving out a video signal to an external monitor then most likely the display panel needs to be replaced.If is doesn't show video to the external display then your video card may be bad
to remove the keyboard, remove the screws at the back of your laptop. Then remove the Hard drive, then remove the Optical drive then remove the video card, and then power supply. Then remove the fan from the motherboard and you may remove the screws on top of the keyboard. Finally you may replace the keyboard.
Clear the motherboards CMOS. Be sure to unplug the computer's power cable from the computer, move the CMOS jumper to the "clear" position or remove the battery for a few minutes. Reposition the CMOS jumper and power up the system.
Sounds Like a driver issue. Uninstall the Sound drivers in the device manager, and check with the Acer website and download the appropriate drivers for your laptop.
