Before anything you should suspect the power supply. It may be able to start the board for a second, but doesn't have the oomph to keep it running.

I flashed the bios on my Asus motherboard M2N-E, and then replaced the processor with a quad. Cleared the cmos and now the computer won't post? What do I need to do to get it up and running again?

Hi,
Try to put back the old procie, if it runs again that means the new procie is not compatible with board.
Read the manual for the compatibilty issue for your MoBo.
Tell me if it works.

ASUS M2N VM DVI trouble

You must replace the processor cooler, the fan on it has aged and it's no longer doing its job properly. And use a good thermal paste.
BTW that software was designed to notify you of the temperatures and nothing more, reinstall it immediately.

I bought this motherboard: ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 Motherboard CPU Bundle - AMD Athlon X2 7550 2.50GHz OEM Processor, Geforce7025/nForce 630a, mATX Motherboard back on June 30, 2009 from www.tigerdirect.com....

I guess this is happening because of the CPU getting heated, Kindly check if the CPU heatsink and the fan is seated properly. Also check if there is any power issue, try to connect the system to another wall socket

Asus motherboard M2N-E will not power up

It could be a memory card too. I would start by pulling the memory cards and see what happens.

Is there a connection on the motherboard for your hard drive?
