I am currently with windows xp, and whenever i plug it in, all it says is music player, i go to my computer and it dosent have anything in there. i have windows media player 10 and it says it cant find a player. it wont be recognized at all. it is correctly inserted in my usb port and it shows a screen with a computer & a line to the mp3. is there anyway i can change my computer to msc mode to fix this problem?
Try uninstalling it with the add/remove hardware opt. on control panel. check hidden devices on device list to see all devices. then plug it back in after its uninstalled. If that doesnt work try using free version of real player, it has drivers for most mp3 players and will work with many more than media player 10.

I plug it in, my XP does not show an Icon anywhere not in MY COMPUTER or on the Media Player. In fact when I plug it in it tells me to plug it into a faster USP Port. I have 4 USB's on my lap to, each has the same result. I noticed it you said to download Real Player, how and where do I get that?
I have XP professional on my laptop. MPC Transport T 1300 with the largest processor and most Ram available.
Please tell me what to do.
