BLACK LINE HI, I HAVE 2 INCH VERTICAL BLACK LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE 2" black line

You have a loss of horizontal deflection caused by either:

1. Defective horizontal deflection circuitry
2. Defective horizontal deflection yoke

Both of these are in the high voltage circuits and I recommend you see a TV technician for an estimate..

You can contact Hitashi to see if your tv is under warranty...thats the link to contact them..
