I had this camera for years, and a couple of months ago, when i turnedo n the camera, the digital screen was all blurred with pinks lines. A couple of weeks ago, i turned on the camera trying to figure out again how to fix this, and the pink blurry thing was gone! I used it for another 4 hours until i turned it off. I turned it back on again the next day and it turned back to pink. It switches this same way many times, but always goes back to the pink. When i take picture, it comes out fine, but the videos show the blur. Is there a solution?
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
