Looks like a hardware problem. The phone may have a defect in circuit. Suggest contacting your provider.

You can back up the phone and perform a hard reset as shown in the manual... the manual is available on the HTC website. ensure you download the right one..

yes it is, but you cannot upgrade it to the new upcoming 7.1

Themes do work but you cannot see it cause of the TouchFlo provided by HTC. If you really do not like or use the touch slider on the main view, then go to Settings > Personal > Today > Uncheck TouchFlow

Now you can see the theme, but now you will miss the regular buttons ;o)

Chose which view you would prefer.

These themes actually for other Windows Mobile which do not have TouchFlow like helpful interface.

if it is like a cross that moves from center to corners when pressed it's the aligment screen just touch all the crosses and it should load up the phone

sorry to point out but Viva is a non GPS phone and it does not have anything inside even to use a software to get it activated

yes it is possible u can use sms back up softwere to take a back up and the same can be used in ur viva
