You can print a single envelope using the photo/envelope feeder. Insert the envelope into the photo/envelope feeder with the side to be printed facing down and the flap to the left.
You can print multiple envelopes (max 20) from the bottom tray. Temporarily remove the top (output) tray. Slide the paper guide in the bottom tray to the left. Load your envelopes to the far right with the side to be printed down, flaps to the left (I like to tuck the flaps into each envelope so they are less easily jammed, but this is optional). Slide the paper guide to the right snugly against the envelopes. Replace the output tray. Start printing.
The paper trays are empty or overloaded. The paper is curledThe print side, or shiny side, of the paper is not loaded in the input tray face down. The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers. The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly. The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product. The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray. The rubber paper-feed rollers are coated with dust.
when you press the 'red' button, it probably says 'paper mismatch, or load "XXX" paper, and you can override it by selecting one of your paper trays manually? It is likely a "legal size document' and you don't have legal size paper loaded, or something along those lines. Try printing the document after manually selecting the paper size/tray (turning off auto paper select) in your printer preferences dialog box on your PC first.
