Hey I have Sharp rice cooker KS-ZA181. Once my son poured water in the cooker without the vessel. So it is not working now? Does it work if I give it for the service ? Is there any service centre in Madurai India? If means give me the address?

that may be a hard thing to do since you have a japanese manual.\

you can always use the 1:1 ratio for cooking rice though.

1 cup white rice = 1 cup water.

1 cup brown rice = 2 cups water

You probably should bring it to a service center. since youve mention a span of time not using your cooker, the thermal capacitor may be busted.
