Laptop memory iv tried to upgrade the memory in my laptop from 1g to 2g , but it has only been running on 766mb since i got it , i put the 2g in restarted the laptop and it still only running on 766mb what can i do ,, many thanks,,
Wrong type(brand) of memory some laptops are very fussy about what type of sodimm you put in them, I would put the 1 gig back in since it is more than the 766mb your getting with the new memory.
