Lines come out when i take a picture - Olympus SP800UZ Digital Camera

Do you have these lines on the screen, while taking pictures in the dark, or ale these lines there always, While taking pictures and viewing the pictures as well? Dod you view the pictures on the computer and are there also lines or not on the PC?

Does this occur only on the camera, or is it visible on your PC during PP operations ?

The reason it has white lines is because the glass is dirty in the inside. If it has one speck of anything inside the scanner it turns into a line because it stays in that one place as the picture slides over it. So that line is actually a dot that is covering the picture throughout the scan. The solutions don't work. I don't suggest taking yours apart. I took mine apart and cleaned the glass. The pictures scanned fine and then the lines show up again. The real solution is to get your money back if you can. It will do this over and over. It's a design flaw in the scanner. The picture is actually squeezed as it it scanned. As pictures are squeezed against the glass... residue builds no matter how clean your pictures are.

Try the steps below.

Remove the Memory card
try to take picture w/out the card
if there are lines, transfer picture on the computer.

If lines exist when pics are transferred to the computer, call 1.800.235.6325 for repair.

When I take the picture I can see lines in the picture. why am I getting that lines

Due to vertical section failure horizontal line apprears. You did not mention about picture. Green horizontal line means with picture or without picture. With picture means there is some leakage. Without picture only singe horizontal line means vertical section totally not working. Particularly green horizontal line means maybe leads to jungle ic failure. Please mention your simptom clearly what you get and what you will not get both video and audio. It will be helpful to answer. Based on your question this is my small information.

If you are using original cartridges then there should not be a problem. The horizontal lines come from the cartridge. Can you pinpoint if it is a color or black line that is missing? My guess is that during the alignment procedure, you are asked to choose a number or letter that corresponds to picture of a the lines that show the best alignment. If you did this correctly, may I ask how many pictures you printed before seeing that line. Is it on the first print or 10th printing? Cuz if it is on the 5th or more full color picture, then the problem is that you you really have the wrong printer. The F380 capacity for printing full color pictures is miniscule. 1 ml per color. So usually after the 3rd color picture, the ink starts to run out. Let me know if this helps.

LG service is non- existent . The only solution that I can suggest is "Give a wide berh to LG products. Dont ever touch any"

the spots on mine are orangey and lines on mine are through the whole picture.

the picture looks overexpoed and orangey/yellowish in artificial light.
