No signal coming through from mixer. Record button is greyed out, not highlighted red, allowing me to record. Has worked fine on previous versions of cakewalk.

Usually to record a series the epg, electronic programme guide, needs to be open. Find the programme you want to record and highlight it using the navigation buttons on the remote.
Pressing the record button at this point will set the system to record the programme but if it is a series a window should open asking if you want to record the series.
There are usually two buttons coloured red. One red button will be in a line-up of four coloured buttons. The record button is generally the other one.
Sounds like you need more ram or computer space. You didn't list what time of mixer or computer so can only answer basicly. If using a computer (which it sounds like) see how much the mixer needs andhow much space available on your hard drive. This is called a latency problem. Basicaly how long does it take for the computer to respond to commands while it is doing a task. either get a bigger hard drive and more ram or clear out some files on your computer. You can also go into settings and change the settings. You'll have to look through the manual on latency problems.
Sounds like the output cable from the 802 is not correctly pinned to your input on the computer. Fred is on the right track but you may need to take it a bit further.
It may also be helpful to use a Pro USB audio interface such as the Digigram UAX220v2 (line level version).
If you wish to use the computer's on board sound card consider an IHF/Pro interface that converts balanced audio to unbalanced , and the proper cables. Two 3-wire balanced 1/4-inch from the 802 to the left and right inputs of the interface (XLR Male), then RCA (Red and White) to a 1/8-inch TRS Plug cable onto the the computers audio input.
Henry Engineering's Matchbox HD comes to mind.
Good Luck.
If you have DISH Network equipment, you can try a check switch test on your receiver so the receiver can update its information from the satellite. With the DISH remote press the Menu button which will display Main Menu on the TV screen.
Press 6 (System Setup), 1 (Installation), and 1(Point Dish). Highlight the CHECK
SWITCH button on the upper right of the screen and press the Select button on
remote. On the Installation Summary screen, highlight the TEST button at the
bottom of screen and press the Select button on the remote. This will initiate
the test. Allow the test to complete. Once completed, exit out of each screen
till you get Acquiring Satellite Signal on TV screen. After acquisition
completion, allow it to download the program guide. If this doesn't fix the problem, you may need a new receiver. I hope this helps.
