I can't install my printer because I don't know where the CD-rom is...what do I do?

I don't know what you mean pin- you may need it to operate the computer, but there is no pin or password neeeded to run the CX6400- just the correct driver loaded (installed) onto the computer.

You could go to the manufacturers website & download a copy from there.

• Connect the printer to the computer.
• Insert installation disk into CD/DVD ROM.
• Go to my computer and double click on the printers icon to run setup,
• Follow instructions till setup finishes installations.

May you remove or uninstall by mistake that's way is not showing now don't install again to follow the mention below instruction.


1) Plug on you USB cable to PC and power on the printer.
2) Put the Lexmark printer software installation CD in you computer CD-Rom.
3) Open the CD-Rom, and duble click the setup exe.
4) The setup will take few minute to install the driver.
5) After installing the driver reboot your computer. and start to printing

Yes you need to install driver if you don't have disk then download driver from below link.

You have to download the correct drivers from the official Epson Driver Download site.

Go to this page, then choose your OS. This will install the necessary software.
