My Bunn just stopped working. It does not heat the water and the warmer for the pot does not work either.

Did you check to make sure the switch on the side of the machine is in the correct position-the "I" pushed down and the "O" up in the air and you see orange around the switch? If this is correct, then please give customer service a call at 800-352-2866 with the model and code date.

How to activate a 10 cup bunn coffee brewer model nhb?

I don't understand the question, but here is a try.
1 - put in two pots of water.
2 - put in third pot, the water should start coming out
Allow the water to heat (thirty minutes) then put coffee in filter housing, put in one pot of water, put empty pot on warmer, close lid, wait for brew cycle, enjoy coffee.

Cleaning

Check bunn.com for a free download of manual with maintenance instructions.
* In general;
-Keep the area clean by wiping down with a damp clean cloth.
-Remove the brew funnel and wipe spray head of coffee and grit.
-Wash the brew funnel after each use.
-Dump out old coffee and wash pots after closing. Heavy coffee stained pots can be filled with plain water and soak over nite. Rinse clean before using.
-For extreme caked on dried coffee pots; fill with hot water and leave on warmer over nite. Ask vendor for URN cleaner and add a tablespoon in pot with hot water. Let sit over nite on warmer plate. Rinse clean prior to use.
-Check if everything is working properly. Better to call and leave a message for service.
* when in doubt, call vendor for service.

Will not percolate. Water is poured, it heats up, no coffee brew

Bunn Home brewers don't perculate. They work the same way that commercial brewers do. Fillit with water, let it heat for about 20 minutes, then put your filter and coffee grounds in the funnel, pour a pot of water into the machine, put the pot on the warmer, and let the water run through. Then enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee.

BT-10-B Bunn Thermofresh that will not heat or fill pot

Lots of times minerals clooect on the heating element and inside the heating chamber. The easiest thing to try is to put white vinegar into the filler, displacing some of the water into the pot. Leave this to soak for about an hour, then flush with several pots of water until the vinegar smell cannot be detected in the water. Make sure that the switch on the side is "ON". You may have an indicator light. The switch on the upper front is for the warmer. The reason you only got a partial pot of water is that the reservoir wasn't completely full. Once you have filled it completely, you should fet a full pot out for every full pot in. If all of the above gives you no relief, you may need to test the heating element for voltage and continuity. If it tests 'open', you will need to replace it.
Good luck, --W/D--

No manual with Bunn NHBX coffee maker.

before plugging in place your empty filter basket in the coffee maker and place a pot under it. Slowly pour in two pots of water using the pour pitcher. Now you can plug it in. it'll take 15 min to heat up first time . when you brew your first pot leave your water level a little short, because the water will expand (only the first time)

Slow recovery on bunn o matic for next cycle

You could have scale building up on the heating element and thermostat probe. try running a 1/3 white vinigar - 2/3 water mix into the brewer, let it heat up completely, then run several pots of clear water through the unit. keep pouring water through it until the vinigar smell is out of the water,

This bunn coffee maker only brews half a pot what do u think is the problem. it is a 2 warmer on top and burnner on bottom. think model # is f15 of f20

be sure there is no water in it. put two pots of water in it. It should fill up the pot then. next time just ad one pot of water. and it should work right. It keeps some reserve water in the heated part.

Bunn coffee maker

It sounds like you have a pour over model and the problem is the tank isn't full. Turn the machine off (or unplug it). Put a pot on the warmer like you are going to brew coffee. Pour clean cold water into the top until it starts coming out the sprayhead (above where the coffee grounds go). Now plug it in and turn on. Let it heat up then you can brew.

The way your machine works is that there is always about 2-1/2 pots of water in the tank. The water you pour in to make coffee is actually pushing the hot water in the tank out. So, if you don't fill the tank before using it, you may be hurting the heating element since it isn't totally submerged in water.

Coffee pot

I am having the identical probem, I plug it in, it starts to heat, but no brewing. I have removed the lid and the water pan underneath, and looked into the opening. When heating, the voltage on the main heater is 110 volts. It stars to steam, then the unit switches off.I think that for some reason,it's not allowing the temp. to rise to the boiling point. Anybody have any ideas? I'll check on that one way valve in the meantime.
