Try hitting F2 when computer starts. You will get into bios. There will be somethig like "VGA palette snooping". You must enable that.

theres nothing about VGA Snooping, im on vista i dont know if its different. i have located where to change priority for different ports but im beginning to think that my ports arent correct. I have one black one that says pci ex and 2 regular pci ports, however my card will only fit in the pci ex port as the other 2 are the other way round!

No signal going sleep

how old is your monitor? can you try to conect another monitor your pc has integrated videocard? does it turn on and beeps?, you should check the back pannel of your pc and try to conect it to onboard video first (if it has), if you get signal get into the bios and change video output from onboard to a external card. if this thing dont work, then vga cord may be damaged or the card is not installed right or not working.

Installed a Graphics card EVGA 6200 AGP 8X in my PC HP Media Center PC m370n now keeps showing failure notice

Did you install the drivers for the Graphics Card before you plugged the card into the computer? If not, remove the graphics card and reboot using your old video connection, install the driver then install the card and plug your monitor into the newly installed card. If you still have an issue try booting into safe mode.

Hi granttoolmad
Shut down computer and disconnect power plug . Extract new graphics . Reconnect and reboot computer , you should get video back . Install the driver with the cdrom you purchased with the card . Shut down . Install new card . and boot your machine . Wait for Windows to recognize the card . Shut down . Connect your monitor to new card . Reboot .

Can't see screen to install diver for HP Compaq WF 1907

My friend just purchase this monitor yesterday. When she plugged it in to the back of the tower she received the same prompt u have mentioned. I was able to repair it because she simply did not realize that I had installed a new graphics card into her pc a few months ago. When u do this, you have to hook your monitor into the area where the new graphics card was installed. You can not plug your monitor into the same onboard card that u have previously plugged your monitor into.
Let me know, if by chance, u did install a new graphics card.
Hope this was helpful :)

Diablotek radeon 9200 problems.....please help

OK, turn-off the computer, remove and replace the BIOS battery, then start it up with the VGA cable in the onboard graphics port.
Press the corresponding key to go into BIOS setup (Del?) and go to the Integrated Devices menu.
Change the option from onboard to PCI in the Video options.
Exit and save settings. As the computer restarts (you'll have to be quick) swap the VGA cable back to the Radeon's port.
