Newly purchased sciphone after factory setting touch screen wont work. it is a double sim wifi sciphone model L88.........voda phone sim wont work.says invalid sim...any solution

The mobile number has to be done by Voda phone. The IMEI has to be put into the Voda Phone network against the Phone number.
Dial #06# into the phones dial and the IMEI will show .
Note the IMEI

if you want the phone to have the mobile number in the sim for labeling it.
Apps - Contacts
touch finger on the plus
touch finger on Sim Card
go down to phone number
put in phone number
press on done from key pad
press on save top right of screen

You can turn off BlueTooth by either going to Settings-->Bluetooth, or touching the BlueTooth icon in the Control Center (swipe bottom to center to bring up the Control Center).

Test your WiFi. If it doesn't work, double-click the Home button, locate the program BlueTooth is running, and swipe it to the top of the screen.

Test WiFi again. If it doesn't work, power down; wait 5 minutes; and power up your phone (if you don't see the white Apple icon when powering up, you did not power down properly).

as daft as it sound sometime wifi can be to strongif you are too neer the wifi - try re-setting the router turn in on / off and try again, or factory reset the photo or go to the prestigio website as there maybe a firmware for the phone - i know they do support the phone to a resonable level

Not Allowed to Dial Error Message on a SciPhone i68 4GI recently purchased a SciPhone 4G with a dual sim card phone. I was very happy with this phone. I had no problems until one day I couldn't call out. I kept getting a not allowed to dial message every time I tried to call anyone.
I could still receive calls and send and receive texts but I couldn't call out. After quite a bit of research on the internet I came up with a solution. None of the solutions available had all the information I needed I just kept trying different combinations until it worked.
Here is the step by step solution I used to remove the "not allowed to dial" message and allow me to dial out again.

1. turn off the phone
2. place 2 sims on the phone
3. restart the phone
4. keep the WLAN disabled
5. enter the engineering mode * # 82043036 #
6. select the option RF Test Tool (on my phone it's option 13)
7. Select GSM, to accept him
8. go to Power scan
9. go to Band Select and select OK DCS1800
10. another screen will appear (model F003) look at each of the options until you find one that will have your phone appear unresponsive (this locked)
11. pressing the main button (the box) will take you to the home screen
12. go to the setup menu
13. go to network settings menu SIM1
14. this is a preferred mode
15. select one of the preferred modes GSM or WILAN
16. restart the phone and you should be ready to make calls

You just enter the code/s into the phone number area in the dial section and the phone will recognize it and enter into the proper mode.
I still love this phone. It has built in WIFI so I can surf the internet with out having to have a data plan from my service provider. I use T-Mobile.

hi i had the same problem with my sciphone i was advised to restore it back to factory settings which i did but my phone no longer works on my network o2 but accepts a t-mobile sim but wont allow me to make or receive calls or send/receive texts, so if this solution is advised to you dont try it unless you know how to fix it afterwards

The SciPhone i9 is not locked to a specific carrier from the factory. That is, it comes from the factory SIM unlocked.

Ok go to settings then go to dual sim settings and click dual sim open

Try to put only one SIM card in slot #2.
Now maybe the touch screen is working-
If not, try to put only one SIM card in slot #1.
The problem could be the 2 SIM card at the same time (also if it should be recognize 2 in the same time).
