If you still need to remove the water, setup seperate syphon hose. (Garden hose will do, place the hose in the top of the tub submersed under water, turn garden tap on & when the air is out of the garden hose turn tap off & disconnect the hose, providing tap is lower than the machine the water will drain away through the garden hose.)
Remove the power cord from wall socket, lean machine against the wall at 45Deg angle. If yours is an older machine with the access panel in the front panel access the pump through it...
Disconnect pump.
Put a towel over connectors to stop them getting wet in next step.
The pump is removeable by twisting 1/4 turn anti-clockwise, you need to lightly release the barb clip to allow the pump housing to turn. Hopefully you can now see the debris causing the problem.
Make sure all lugs are engaged when reassembling, if one is not the pump will be hard to turn.
EVEN WITH PRODUCT OFF AT THE DISPLAY PANEL THE DRAIN PUMP IS STILL LIVE, MAKE SURE THE POWER PLUG IS PULLED OUT OF THE WALL SOCKET

Wont spin

Probably down to the water not emptying from the machine in the empty cycle and the machine won't spin because there's still water in the drum. If this is the case, the root of the problem is almost certainly a blocked filter, restricting the draining of the water and not allowing it all to pump out in time during the empty cycle. You probably need to find and clean your filter.

Have you checked the filter? if it is blocked the machine will know it has not emptied and will do odd cycles but not work, a google search will reveal the location of the filter, except my new maytag that has none so a turn over and dismantle it the only option, after bailing,

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
