My HP 3210 all-in-one printer does not power up when I plug it in. It appears to be getting power because when I plug the printer in, the little bluetooth light in the front lower right does light up. However, when the power button is pressed nothing happens.

Are you taking it off electricity a log? If so you have to set it up to your preferences sometimes. And are you tapping the "on" button at far left at the top? It should work. But it must be plugged in of course and the button has to be pushed. Don't push too hard or too long or it will turn off.

0xc18a0401 appears on the screen after start up of the printer When trying to copie : same fault. Can you give me some advise.

Try resetting the printer. With the unit on, unplug the data cable (USB) from the back of the printer. (At times, unplugging the data cable from the computer helps). Then remove all of the ink cartridges and wait for the message "Insert Ink Cartridges" to appear. At this point, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Wait 60 seconds (or longer) then plug the power cord back in. Power on the printer if it doesn't come back on. Reinstall the ink cartridges when the unit prompts you to do so. Close the cover. Print a calibration page if you get a prompt to do so. (Do the complete calibration including scanning the calibration page.) Finally plug in the data cable (to both the printer and the computer if you completely disconnected it). .

Try printing again.

If the error persists, the unit needs service from HP. You will need to decide if the cost is worthwhile if the printer is out of warranty.

I hope this helps.

No Power

Usually there is no fuse in the printer itself. The big block that you plug into the wall is actually a transformer. It converts the 120V power from the wall outlet to a much lower voltage and also converts it to DC power.take the plug in end with the cube transformer in it and bring under a good light and it will read the specifications about that power converter. What sometimes happens is that the transformer inside that cube fails (through various causes) and thus produces no voltage or the wrong voltage. Take the plug with you to an electronics store of your choice and they will direct you to a universal 120AC to a DC transformer (it will have various settings and various plug adapters) and then follow the instructions to match the voltage on the old power converter. I hope this helps you out.

Is there a reset switch on the HP Photosmart 3210 printer?

Unplug the printer, check all cable connections, and plug it back in. If it still doesn't work, your power may have surged and killed the power supply or other components in the printer. If this is the case, you are best off buying a new one, as you'll spend more in parts and labor then a new one will cost.
If it is still under warranty, I'd try and redeem that.

I have a Ink System Failure.

I had this same problem but with a different error code. Try doing:
1. Unplug the power cord from printer.
2. Hold both o.k and Cancel simultaneously.
3. Plug the power cable while holding the buttons.

After I did this my printer reconfigured like it used to do and it was like it was new again.... well new plus a headache a managed to get while reading all these little posts. I hope this helps!
