sounds like clutch switch, Check under dash follow clutch pedal up and see if there is a switch under dash, should be Purple wires going to it Heavy gauge wires, need to unplug it and put a jumper in from one side to other and cover with tape so it doesen't touch and ground out and blow a fuse, then see if it will start and if it took care of your problem, if so replace switch

Intermittent starting problem. Turning key does nothing.

Sounds like you could have a faulty switch, but I would check the starter selenoid first. Sometimes when the selenoid goes bad it will behave in the way you describe. If, with your key in the on position, (not on start), you can jump power from the hot wire, (positive), post on your selenoid to the hot wire that goes from the selenoid to the starter and the starter then engages, but doesn't otherwise, it is a selenoid problem. Good Luck! I hope you find this very helpful!

Triumph sprint rs 955i,all correct lights come on during start up proceedure but there is only the click of the relay switch when you press start button and no ignition, started as an intermittant fault...

try charging up the battery, the starter needs around 60 amps to turn over compared to the lights that only need around 5 amps, maybe it just doesnt have enough power to turn it over... hope this helps

I think that you first need to independently FULLY charge the battery..., then tell me what the charing rate is, how many volts, at say 2000 rpm... Need 13.8 to 14. 5 or so... How many amps can the system charge at?

disconnect the battery over night, is it still fully charged in the morning. one issue with batteries is once they fully discharge, often they never really fully recover...

After these answers, diodes in the alternator are suspect areas...and sometimes act inconsistantly, but essentially failed ones allow path to not just replace, these need to be read on a scope. or disected and individually tested.... Then a methodical test proceedure should be undertaken connecting one circuit at a time, overnight and see which one is offending..

The flame sensor has to prove the flame to stay lit. When it fails, the valve closes.

Kenmore gas range model# 362.72321 Oven will not ignite (sometimes)

Range Oven Temperature Sensor Part Number WB20K0004 Sears PartsDirect
This will be why the oven acts up. The broiler doesn't rely as much on this as the bake part does. Replace this and it should fix your problem.

Broiler has gas burning problem

clean all the broiler burner ring holes with toothpicks then clean the burner ring with dishwashing soap and, rinse with clear water. wait until dry then: try the broiler again; sometimes the holes the gas comes out of gets plugged with grease and the burner ring/rod makes a whoshing sound when the excess gas pressure builds up and the gas escapes the burner ring all at once then the cycle begins again

Broiler works intermittantly

It sounds like you have an intermittent disconnection either because of a dirty contact on or in the switch or something loose like a wire or the element contacts, maybe not plugged in all the way--possibly greased and dirty. If you feel comfortable try moving stuff around with the switch on and see if anything makes it change -- otherwise get somebody knowledgeable with a test meter.
