The flashing lights on your Bush TD7CNBCW tumble dryer could indicate an error or fault in the machine. While I don't have access to specific error codes for this particular model, I can provide some general troubleshooting steps that may help you identify and resolve the issue:
1. Check the user manual: Refer to the user manual that came with your tumble dryer. It should contain information about error codes and their meanings. Look for any reference to the flashing lights you are seeing.
2. Power cycle the dryer: Turn off the dryer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and try turning it on again. Sometimes, power cycling can help reset the machine and clear minor glitches.
3. Check the door switch: Ensure that the door of the tumble dryer is fully closed and latched. The machine may not start if the door switch is not engaged properly.
4. Clear any obstructions: Make sure the drum inside the dryer can spin freely and is not obstructed by any items or lint buildup. Clear out any debris or lint that may be blocking the drum or the lint filter.
5. Check the water tank and filter: If your tumble dryer has a water tank or condenser unit, ensure that it is empty and clean. Additionally, clean the lint filter to ensure it is not clogged, as this can affect the dryer's performance.
6. Consult customer support: If the issue persists and you cannot find a resolution in the user manual, it is recommended to contact the Bush customer support or a qualified technician who can provide specific guidance and assistance for your model.
Remember, safety should always be a priority when dealing with electrical appliances. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with troubleshooting the issue yourself, it's best to seek professional help to avoid any risks or further damage to the appliance.

The check filter indicator is a reminder to clean the lint filter before each use to ensure effective drying every time. The indicator turns off when you turn the cycle knob to select a drying program or when the start/pause button is pressed. Apr 7, 2023
First wash the lint filter with dish soap and give it a gentle scrub with a plastic pot brush. Fabric softener can gum them up and impede the air flow.
Check the hose at the back for lint build up in the hose itself and in the tube at the back of the dryer. Finally check the flaps on the wall vent for smooth operation and they they are opening fully. If you have the old type with a circular flap, you might even find a birds nest in there!
Although the error light is telling you to clean the lint filter, it is actually registering reduced air flow and an overheat situation.
the clean filter just blinks at start of a cycle to remind you to clean it. there is no lint filter sensor or anything like that. it goes out after you program your cycle and hit start. if dryer is not coming on, there is another issue. any fault/error codes?
Did you pull the dryer out or forward sounds like you may have pinched the exhaust which restricts air flow exiting the unit this will cause it to heat briefly shut down heat shut down and continue this cycle the fact that it worked before makes me think it something simple it will not tumble in any cycle if door switch not installed correctly.
Depending on how old this is or how much it is used depends how much lint has built up inside the air flow tube. I have seen where you look inside where the lint screen is and beneath it with screen removed there is nothing but lint, in which case the dryer thinks the screen is clogged. You might have two screws on the inside of the drum that hold the screen holder in place. First remove the lint screen and hold the little door that closes when you remove the screen, open the little door and look down inside it with a flash light, if you see a lot of lint, like I said you might be able to remove the holder and clean this area out, also take a coat hanger and bend a little piece at the end and use this to get most of the lint out of this area and the tube that Leeds down from this area. If this can be done and you get this area clean and it still happens, you might have to clean the entire area the tube and the back tube, the tube leeding to the outside of the house and vent. Any questions please post back.
Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue.
I had exactly the same problem with my newish LG dryer. I deduced that the dryer's computer essentially needed to be rebooted. I pulled the plug for a minute or so, then plugged it back in. It works perfectly now.
